    Headstrap assembly

    in General

I just had delivery of the preassembled HEGduino (Feather) here in Germany (through MOUSER - they had it on stock in Germany - no import hassles - cool).

How do I assemble the headstrap though?

I got two safety pins and two clamps and don't know what to do with them.

I haven't found any documentation on that. A little assembly video could be very helpful as well.

Being a long time user of the HEG Peanut with Pete van Deusen's excellent LIFE game (Bioexplorer)

I'm really eager to try it out. It would be a great device to recommend to other people in need! Thanks for your great work!!!

This should get you there. Look for the two wide slots and the two narrow slots and put the pieces through like in the images below. I use the safety pin to hold the sensor in place and the bandage clips or the other safety pin can be used to hold it on your head. Now I'm finding it easier just to use the safety pins for everything since the fabric is so stretchy, and the clips can break if you pull them too hard. RE Video, yeah I have a bunch of clips I am not finding enough time to edit together, hopefully this week! I'm getting overwhelmed with sales and running my foraging co-op lol. Glad everything showed up. I designed Pete's new prototype and am friends with Bob and Stephanie at BILA, more news about that should happen soon although it's mainly happening in Brazil since that's where the devs are, and currently is going to be priced too high for my taste. I've got more prototypes cooking that should shake things up further, however.
